Our compressed air engineers cover Aberdeen and the surrounding Aberdeen area. Most work is carried out for offshore oil and gas supply, subsea engineering, fish processing, food production, renewable energy supply, granite-related fabrication, harbour engineering sites, with regular visits to industrial estates, production sites and engineering workshops across the region.

Industrial Estates And Areas Covered

The Aberdeen catchment includes Altens, Tullos, Bridge of Don, Dyce, Kirkhill, East Tullos, Wellheads, Westhill, Aberdeen Harbour, Cove. These are the locations where most compressor work for offshore supply chain workshops, fish and food processing, and subsea engineering is concentrated. Each estate has its own mix of compressor brands, sizes and duty cycles, and the engineers carrying out a survey will have seen sites nearby with similar systems.

Across the wider Aberdeen area, compressor work falls into a few common patterns. Larger production sites at Altens, Tullos and Bridge of Don usually run sequenced banks of compressors with planned maintenance contracts. Workshop and bodyshop sites further out tend toward single-unit installations with reactive service. Sites with continuous duty production sit in between, often with one fixed-speed and one VSD machine controlled by a sequencer.

Wider Regional Coverage

Beyond the immediate Aberdeen ring, the catchment reaches sites accessible from A90, A96, A92, AWPR Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route, Wellington Road. This covers workshops, processing sites and facilities teams that may not sit on a named industrial estate but still need compressed air engineering support. Most sites within an hour of Aberdeen by road can be reached for a planned visit inside the same working week.

Response Time

Response time depends on whether the site is on a maintenance contract, the nature of the fault and the engineer rota. Most planned visits inside the Aberdeen ring road catchment are scheduled inside one working day from booking. Emergency response for contracted sites is faster, with priority routing through the A90, A96 and the AWPR.

For sites without a contract, response time is fitted around the existing engineer rota for the day. Where possible we will give a clear estimate of arrival window at the point of booking rather than a vague "we will be there as soon as we can".

Booking A Visit

To arrange a survey, service or breakdown visit, send the site postcode, compressor make and model, and a short description of the situation. From there we will confirm the next available slot or, if it is an emergency, route through the on-call engineer. Sites considering a maintenance contract are usually best served with a short survey visit first, which gives a written baseline of the system before any commitment is made.
